"Best Sound System & Light Show Around"
Originally the DJ was someone who work at Radio Stations, spinning the platters for all to hear over the air waves.
In most cases he was a faceless voice to his fans.
You would be suprized how many midgets were radio DJ's in the 80's
Disk Jockey also took those records on location, whether it was a sock hop, a private party or a big Shindig.
DJ's can still do all of these things, yet much more.
DJ's can be an MC in clubs with rhthym and record scratching machines.
The DJ may still be the person who brings a truck load of CD's to your party.
In this generation most all DJ's are musicians...
this is a plus for club owners with large rooms.
DJ's now play some clubs that can house 2000 guests for that event.
I myself giged a club in Atalanta that seated 3000 plus
